Job summary

A leading community health trust in Norwich is seeking a Therapy Assistant for the In-Patient Unit. The role involves supporting registered Physiotherapists and Occupational Therapists to aid in patient care and rehabilitation. Therapy Assistant - In-Patient Unit

To assist you with this you will receive support and development through in service training, regular appraisals, a personal development plan and clinical supervision.

You must be self-motivated, able to demonstrate sound clinical reasoning skills and have good communication skills.

Main duties of the job

The post will be based on Alder Ward in Norwich. You will work as a member of the therapy team on the ward where you will support the registered Physiotherapists/Occupational Therapists and Band 4 Assistant Practitioner. Your main duties will involve reviewing mobility, transfers, personal activities of daily living and exercise programmes as appropriate. You will be responsible for feeding back details of each patients progress to other members of the therapy team.
