Are you passionate about supporting people through their recovery and really making a difference to their day? If so, this Therapy Assistant role is perfect for you. We are looking for an individual who is driven, motivated and confident in communicating with others to join the Therapy team on Brant Ward, our 18-bed acute assessment ward for older adults experiencing complex mental health problems. The role of Therapy Assistant will provide effective evidence-based therapeutic interventions for older people referred to inpatient services under the direction of qualified Allied Health Professionals. Therapy Assistants will work in close collaboration with AHPs and the wider multidisciplinary team, delivering therapy care plans that maintain and improve skills in activities of daily living, support communication and promote independence and choice at all times. Therapy Assistants will assist in organising and delivering individual and group clinical programmes as agreed with supervising AHPs in line with clinical governance and professional standards.
