A healthcare provider in Gateshead is seeking a Theatre Health Care Assistant to support patients during their perioperative journey. The role involves effective communication, assisting medical staff, and maintaining patient privacy. Candidates should have GCSEs in Maths and English or equivalent, with experience in a perioperative setting preferred. This position is a full-time, permanent role with a salary range of £24,937 to £26,598 per annum, and covers various working patterns including nights and weekends.
We are looking to recruit a Theatre Health Care Assistant who will play an integral role at all stages of a patient’s perioperative journey.
We have twelve theatres covering a range of specialities including Orthopaedics, general surgery, and are the regional centre for Gynae‑Oncology. Our facilities include 2 state‑of‑the‑art laparoscopic theatres and a robotic theatre.
As a Theatre Health Care Assistant, you will be a valuable part of the Theatre team.
Based in the North East of England we provide a range of hospital and community health services from our leading facilities, including the Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Blaydon urgent care centre and Bensham Hospital, all within Gateshead.
