Job description

The McMillan Theatre is seeking flexible and motivated Technicians to assist with the daily operations of the McMillan Theatre. Working at this state-of-the-art facility, you will be a practical and efficient individual with strong communication and teamwork skills. You will work closely with the Theatre Manager to facilitate all stakeholders that use the theatre including students, community groups and professional companies.

You will ensure the technical demands of each user group are met and that a professional service is provided at all times. You will also support the Music & Performing Arts curriculum teams in providing outstanding teaching, learning and assessment across all programmes.

The McMillan Theatre offers a mixed programme of concerts, comedy, dance, drama, musical theatre and local amateur productions, you will never find a dull moment. The venue incorporates a 350 seat auditorium, 120 seat studio, Dance Studio and has full cinematic, theatrical and conference facilities. We have a vibrant team of staff and volunteers who are always willing to assist.
