A leading health trust in the UK is seeking an Obstetric Theatre Team Leader to oversee theatre operations and staff management. You will play a crucial role in providing high standards of care to patients and assist with training and education within the team. This position requires flexibility in working arrangements and there is a strong commitment to equality and diversity. The role closes on December 10, 2025.
As the Obstetric Theatre Team Leader you will plan and order future lists, manage and develop staff, work with the multi‑disciplinary team to provide a timely, high standard of care to patients, and assist the Theatre Manager in the continuing responsibility for the management of the Department. This includes deployment of staff, equipment, supplies and other resources, carrying out 24‑hour responsibility for the department in the absence of the Theatre Manager, and overseeing the obstetric service delivered in theatre. You will assist with training and educating staff, and be the link for the department at meetings, disseminating any changes to practice or equipment.
