Qualifications

• Experience of working in an environment with a broad range of people.
• Experience of working in a hospital or care environment (desirable).

Responsibilities

• Convey patients to and from Departments for examinations.
• Collect and deliver notes and request forms.
• Dispose of soiled linen and waste products.
• Assist with movement of patients for clinical examinations.
• Clean chairs and stretchers.
• Check and maintain oxygen cylinders.

Skills

Good command of written and verbal English

Keyboard Skills (data inputting)

Knowledge of Porter procedures

Ability to prioritize workload

Education

Maths and English GCSE (or equivalent)
