Overview

We have an exciting opportunity for a part-time experienced theatre nurse (ie NMC Registered Nurse who has attained an accredited anaesthetic qualification) or HCPC Registered Operating Department Practitioner. The vacancy is available at our world leading specialist hospital, with rotational opportunities across anaesthetics, scrub and recovery. Our theatre practitioners provide high quality care within a friendly and supportive multi-disciplinary environment. The Theatre Unit at RJAH comprises 13 theatres alongside a Recovery unit, a HDU and an on-site TSSU. We cover a wide spectrum of primarily elective Orthopaedic surgery including, but not exclusively, Revision & Primary Arthroplasty, Upper limb, Lower Limb, Sports Injuries, Spines, Tumour and Paediatrics. • Support a wide spectrum of primarily elective orthopaedic surgery, including revision & primary arthroplasty, upper limb, lower limb, sports injuries, spines, tumour and paediatrics.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Part-time role for a theatre nurse (NMC Registered Nurse with an accredited anaesthetic qualification) or HCPC Registered Operating Department Practitioner.
• Must be able to work in the UK; we are unable to support applicants who require assistance to undertake OSCE.
• Eligibility to work and full registration with the relevant regulatory body.
