Connect Appointments are recruiting a Test Technician to join our client's production team in Dalgety Bay. This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled technician with a strong background in electronics testing, fault finding, and quality assurance.

What's on offer?

A full-time ongoing position
Working week of Monday to Thursday, 7am to 5pm
Paid weekly at £12.59 per hour

Working as a Test Technician, your main responsibility will be the product testing of in-house manufactured PCB's. As such your day-to-day duties will include:

  • Test PCBs and troubleshoot faults down to component level
  • Assist Test Operators with debugging and testing issues
  • Meet production targets for quality and throughput
  • Record and report production data, failures, and supplier performance
  • Follow Health & Safety policies and operate equipment only if trained
  • Maintain product quality and comply with manufacturing standards
  • Work efficiently to reduce waste and support continuous improvement
  • Raise any safety, quality, or environmental concerns with your Manager
To be successful in this Test Technician role, you will have previous experience in PCB testing, debugging, and component-level fault finding. Other key skills, traits and experience include:
  • Strong understanding of electronic circuits and quality standards
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
  • A proactive approach to quality, safety, and environmental responsibilities
