Role Purpose
Heylo appreciate that testing is important because of the impact of untested or underperforming applications and systems can have on our customers, employees and company. heylo is a growing company and is searching for experienced candidates for the position of test manager. Key Responsibilities And Accountabilities
- Definition and development of testing practices
- You will have broad experience across the testing lifecycle, creating Test Strategies, plans and scripts for each phase (SIT, UAT, OAT, Performance, Security). Solid track record of designing and analysing formal test metrics
- Ensuring the project team have the right processes and tooling to complete the job
- Managing the project team from a testing perspective
- Effectively follow the software/ implementation development life cycle
- Communicate effectively with Senior Business users, Development and Managers
- Having full responsibility for defining the testing strategy, monitoring and ensuring compliance across the project lifecycle function
- Utilising your own experience and judgement to ensure testing strategy meets business needs
- Test Risk and Issue elicitation and escalation
- Understanding of Shared Ownership and its processes
- Provide testing consultancy for internal stakeholders
- Verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to manage own workload
Requirements:
Person Specification Capabilities And Experience
The candidate will have:
- Engagement with stakeholders at all levels
- Identifies testing risks both within and across projects and provides testing solutions /processes to mitigate the risks
- Working within multiple methodologies e.g. Agile, Waterfall
- Personable, confident and hardworking, with excellent organisational and communication skills
- Financial Services
- Shared Ownership Housing (desirable)
The candidate will be able to:
- Demonstrate project experience, with a good knowledge of some the following applications, Zoho, MRI modules, Fixflo
- Can operate in a fast paced and challenging environment
- Confident in working with 3rd party suppliers

Standard Responsibilities

The postholder is expected to carry out other duties from time to time, which are broadly consistent with those described. Duties may be changed, after discussion, to suit the operational requirements of heylo.

Salary And Benefits
Salary: Subject to candidates, qualifications and experience
Hours of work: Full-time 39 hours per week with the ability to work up to 60 days a year home working. In this role, we expect there to be a degree of travel and flexibility, with some evening and weekend working as necessary.
Holiday: 25 days a year plus English Bank Holidays
