Moog Aircraft Group Tewkesbury is seeking a Test Equipment Design Engineer with an electronics bias to lead the design, build, and deployment of advanced test systems used in the qualification and production acceptance of aircraft flight control components. These systems span hydromechanical, electrical, software, and power distribution domains—supporting both internal operations and global customer facilities.

You’ll collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, contribute to Verification and Validation activities, and provide hands-on support from concept through deployment. This is a role for engineers who thrive on complexity, precision, and innovation. The role is hybrid, with onsite presence required as needed.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and deploy complex hydraulic test systems aligned with customer requirements, budgets, and schedules
  • Develop electronic hardware including circuit diagrams and PCB layouts
  • Lead verification testing, calibration procedures, and integration activities
  • Support system upgrades, maintenance, and root cause investigations
  • Generate technical documentation and participate in design reviews
  • Deliver user training and coordinate global installations
  • Ensure compliance with Moog’s development processes and safety standards

What You’ll Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Software, Aeronautical)
  • 3–5 years’ experience in aerospace, automotive, or test systems engineering
  • Expertise in servo-hydraulic and electromechanical test solutions
  • Proficiency in LabVIEW, Microsoft Project, Excel, Word, and Visio
  • Familiarity with DOORS, Subversion, JIRA, and systems engineering principles
  • Ability to obtain UK Security Clearance
  • Willingness to travel globally and work across time zones
