Responsibilities

• Responsible for periodic inspection reports and installation condition reports.
• Complete necessary remedial work per Health & Safety requirements.
• Work on petrol filling station hazardous areas and electrical installations.
• Fault find and repair electrical equipment.
• Conduct ongoing remedial and maintenance works.

Skills

Job description

What you'll do :

You’ll be responsible for periodic inspection reports, installation condition reports, and completing any necessary remedial work in accordance with our client’s specific Health & Safety requirements. Your day-to-day duties will revolve around working on petrol filling station hazardous areas, retail and commercial electrical installations, and electric vehicle service equipment. You’ll also be tasked with fault finding and repairing electrical equipment, as well as conducting ongoing remedial and maintenance works.

• A solid understanding of working in hazardous areas and retail installations
• A full clean Driving License
• Able to read & understand design drawings & panel schematics
• Ability to understand test readings and identify defects
• Knowledge of filling station installations & procedures
• Comfortable with MS Office, in particular Excel.
• Safety conscious
• Comfortable and confident enough to arrange own workload

Minimum Certification required :

• C&G 2391 Electrical Inspection (or equivalent)
• ECS Gold Card in Date
• CSCS Card in Date

Ideally, we would be looking for you to hold the following certs, however we are happy to get you trained up if you have the right foundational skills :

• CompEx (7&8 or 1-4)
• BS : 7671 : 2018 As Amended
• UKPIA
