What You’ll Do

You’ll work as part of a small team of technicians and engineers in the Test & Development department. Your responsibilities will include carrying out electrical and mechanical tasks to complete verification requests, building test rigs and fixtures, installing instrumentation on test vehicles, and supporting tests at various facilities. This role involves hands‑on work with components, systems, and vehicles, including occasional travel within the UK and abroad.

What We’re Looking For

We’re looking for a skilled technician with strong knowledge of vehicle mechanical systems and body systems. Welding, fabrication, and workshop machine tool operation are essential. You’ll be able to read mechanical drawings, work independently, and communicate effectively. Experience with instrumentation, data logging, and high‑voltage systems is desirable. A valid UK driving licence and passport are required.

Bonus if you have:
  • PCV or LGV licence
  • Experience with hybrid systems and commercial vehicles
  • Proven track record in vehicle testing
