The Territory Business Manager (TBM) is a key commercial role within the UK Pharmaceutical Division, responsible for driving sales growth, maximising account potential, and delivering exceptional customer engagement across a defined geographic territory.

This highly autonomous role focuses on strategic account management, effective selling, and high-impact presentations to healthcare professionals (HCPs) and key decision-makers.

Main responsibilities include:

  • Develop and implement territory business plans
  • Establish extensive knowledge of product, market and NHS systems
  • Execute compelling, customer-focused sales calls that address clinical and commercial needs
  • Deliver impactful product presentations to individuals and groups, both in-person and virtually
  • Utilise advanced negotiation techniques to secure formulary inclusions and prescribing commitments
  • Budget administration to manage expenditure, ensuring adequate resource and asset prioritisation
  • Maintain and develop positive and appropriate customer relationships
  • Identify growth opportunities within the assigned portfolio and implement decisively

The TBM will demonstrate a growth mindset and agility to adapt to evolving market dynamics and will operate with the highest ethical standards.

Candidate experience required:

  • ABPI qualified
  • Knowledge of NHS structures, pathways, and funding processes
  • Demonstrated success in achieving or exceeding sales targets
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret sales and market data
  • Growth mindset with adaptability to changing market conditions
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, and interpersonal skills
