Job summary

Temp Lab Tech Job

Are you looking to gain some further experience in a Lab Setting? Do you have prior experience in Lab Support/Technician duties?

A Laboratory Incubator Space in Glasgow, Scotland are currently seeking a Lab Technician to join them immediately on initially a temporary basis for 3 months, with the possibility of extending or going permanent. The Laboratory space houses multiple tenants across various Labs; your responsibilities will ensure the smooth operation of these Labs.

Role Overview

• £15 ph, Full Time 40 hours per week, Monday- Friday 8AM-5:30, starting w/c 19/01/26
• Oversee maintenance and refilling of liquid nitrogen and gas cylinders.
• Ordering and storage of consumables.
• Maintenance of Water Purification System
• Support Tenants of the Laboratories and act as an intermediary to facilitate external support (i.e from maintenance engineers)
• Oversee and maintain adherence to Health and Safety requirements.
• Monitoring and calibrating PH Meters.

To Be Considered

• You must be available to begin Immediately Glasgow, Scotland.
• Prior experience in a similar Lab Technician or Lab Support Role.
• Experience handling Liquid Nitrogen and Gas Cylinders.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Manual Handling capability.
