Qualifications

  • Evidence of clinical supervision of staff/students, including assistance in planning caseloads.
  • Attendance of Clinical Supervisory Skills Course or equivalent.
  • Understanding of current issues in Nutrition and Dietetics.
  • Prioritisation of dietetic treatment in patients who are highly complex.

Responsibilities

  • Provide advanced, highly specialised dietetic care to patients.
  • Lead the clinical management of a complex neurosurgery caseload.
  • Support Clinical Dietetic Manager in co-ordinating activities of the team.
  • Conduct advanced assessments of patients with complex nutritional issues.

Skills

HCPC Registration as a Dietitian
Experience in a senior dietetic role
Good written and oral communication skills
Leadership and initiative
Advanced counselling skills

Education

BSc (Hons) Nutrition & Dietetics or equivalent
Registered for Diploma of Advanced Dietetic Practice

Tools

Knowledge of statistics software (SPSS, Mini-tab)
