Job summary

A reputable Construction company is seeking a Telehandler for a temporary full-time role in East Grinstead. The successful candidate will have a current CPCS/NPORS CSCS card and at least 2 years of Telehandler experience. Responsibilities include transporting materials, loading and unloading goods, and ensuring site safety. Strong teamwork and a strong work ethic are essential. • Minimum of 2 years experience operating a Telehandler in a similar environment.

Responsibilities

• Obtain copies of production schedule and transport materials on site.

• Check loads are secure and perform equipment checks.

Job description

• Role: Telehandler

• Location: East Grinstead
• Contract type: Temporary (Full time)
• Rate: £16.25ph

The role:

As the Telehandler on site, you will be responsible for the following:

• Obtain copies of production schedule daily and transport materials to and from designated areas on site.
• Loading and unloading goods from vehicles such as trucks
• Moving goods packed on pallets or in crates.
• Checking loads are secure.
• Stacking empty pallets
• Performing daily equipment checks such as recharging the truck's battery and lubricating equipment.
• Removing machine attachments and waste material from machines

About you:

• Working knowledge of site health & safety procedures would be an advantage but is not essential.
• Strong work ethic in a team.
• Be approachable and happy to work as a point of contact when working in a standalone position.

To be successful in your application for this role you will have and be able to demonstrate the following skills and attributes:
