Job description

We are currently recruiting a Telecoms Administrator to join our friendly Head Office team in Stockport. This is a busy and responsible role, ideal for someone with an organised approach to problem‑solving who can provide great customer service. You will coordinate the purchasing and management of telecoms for the organisation, including mobiles, landlines and broadband. This will require a confident individual who is proactive in identifying and following up faults, user problems and billing issues. You will be accountable for your own caseload while working flexibly as part of a wider team.

In addition, you will provide first‑line support for basic IT and connectivity issues. This will include setting up and maintaining networked printers, troubleshooting Wi‑Fi and connectivity problems, and liaising with external suppliers or internal teams where required to ensure issues are resolved efficiently.

Prior experience in a customer service, administrative or person‑facing role is essential. This is an ideal position for a trainee, graduate or telecoms engineer with a genuine interest in telecommunications. You will have the ability to input data accurately and maintain up to date records. A good standard of numeracy and literacy is required and you must be competent in IT, including Excel and maintaining a database.
