Job Title: Telecommunications Engineer

Day Rate: Up to £150 per day (Inside IR35)

Job Description

We are seeking multiple (up to ten) Telecommunications/Cabling Engineers to join our team on a temporary contract basis (6 month rolling contract). This role involves night-shift work across various locations in the UK, following a Sunday afternoon/evening to Thursday afternoon/evening schedule. The project is expected to commence in January and requires candidates to stay away from home during the working week.

Responsibilities
  • Work night shifts across various UK locations.
  • Coordinate effectively with both office-based and field teams.
  • Install and terminate voice and data cabling for a broad range of systems.
  • Utilise cabling expertise in CAT 5, Cat 6, and fibre optics.
  • Maintain and replace old cabling when required.
  • Provide excellent customer service and support.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations, including IPAF standards.
Essential Skills
  • Minimum of one year's UK cabling experience.
  • Full, valid UK driving licence.
  • Willingness to travel across the UK and stay away from home.
  • Current IPAF (scissor-lift) qualification (desired).
  • Strong verbal and written English communication skills.
