Job summary

A leading employment consultancy is seeking a Service Transition Manager in Leeds to ensure the seamless transition of new services into operational environments. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with ServiceNow and Microsoft 365, alongside excellent communication skills. Responsibilities include leading onboarding, driving User Acceptance Testing, and collaborating with technical teams. This role offers a hybrid work model with a maximum day rate of £625.

Service Transition Manager

Location: Leeds, Wellington Place / Edinburgh

Contract: 12 months

Day Rate: Max 625 per day Via Umbrella

Hybrid 2 days in office per week required

Are you an experienced Service Transition Manager with a passion for ensuring new services are delivered seamlessly into live environments? We are looking for someone who can bridge the gap between technical delivery and operational support, ensuring every service is robust, scalable, and ready from day one.

What you will be doing
  • Leading the onboarding and migration of new technologies and services
  • Driving User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and ensuring operational readiness
  • Collaborating with engineering, support, and operations teams to embed support models
  • Building processes that improve long-term service health and user experience
What we are looking for
  • Strong experience with ServiceNow (ITSM, CMDB, Change/Release Management)
  • Solid knowledge of Microsoft 365 (Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, Intune)
  • Good understanding of ITIL v4 principles and service lifecycle
  • Proven track record in service transition planning and execution
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills
Nice to have
  • ITIL v4 Foundation certification (or higher)
  • Experience with automation tools (PowerShell, Logic Apps)
