Job description

We’re looking for a Technology Specialist to join our Oracle Retail & Operations team. In this role, you’ll be the go-to expert, supporting our Oracle Applications (RMS, ReSA, ReIM, RPM) alongside our Operations Support teams (MFDM, EDI and Operations). You’ll work with colleagues across the business, as well as external partners, to make sure our systems run smoothly, issues are resolved quickly, and new opportunities are spotted and delivered.

Responsibilities
  • Service Delivery & Development - Enhancing user experience on Oracle Retail applications by delivering small changes within budget, and ensuring services meet agreed SLAs.

  • Stakeholder Management - Building strong relationships across the business, keeping colleagues updated, and delivering service improvements that exceed expectations.

  • People & Vendor Management - Coordinating 3rd party teams and suppliers, ensuring effective collaboration and engagement.

  • Financial & Risk Management - Supporting budget control, adhering to compliance standards, and managing risk.

  • Continuous Improvement - Identifying opportunities to improve processes and keeping the technology roadmap on track with key milestones.

About you

We’re looking for someone who has experience working with enterprise technologies and ideally Oracle Applications. You’ll have knowledge of cloud-based technologies, including migrations from on-premise solutions. You will also have:

  • Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and lead conversations at senior level.

  • A track record of delivering efficiencies and improvements that unlock business value.

  • The ability to translate complex technical challenges into simple, actionable solutions.

  • Commercial awareness and experience of managing extended teams, including offshore.

  • Strong decision-making skills in challenging situations, remaining calm under pressure.

  • ITILv3/v4 or Agile Service Delivery certification (desirable)
