Here at Blueprint Recruitment, we are looking for a highly skilled Technician to be an active member of an internationally respected organisation that specialises in assurance, sustainability, and risk management, in a permanent position. Within this role, you will be required to work on-site, from our client's site in Cumbria, in which you will be responsible for providing technical support and contributing to the delivery of high-quality services that comply with industry standards and practices.

Responsibilities
  • Perform and oversee the inspection, calibration, testing, and maintenance of a range of technical equipment and systems.
  • Assist in the delivery of technical services and help in reporting any findings to engineers and stakeholders.
  • Keep up-to-date documentation and records that follow quality assurance and requirements.
  • Support the process of setting up and executing tests and trials, both in the field and in controlled environments.
  • Comply with health, safety, and environmental procedures and policies.
  • Work with a variety of teams to ensure projects are completed efficiently and in a timely manner.
Qualifications
  • Qualification in engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience of working in the field as a technician or related role.
  • Proficient understanding of electrical, mechanical, and/or instrumentation systems.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to problem solve effectively and efficiently.
  • Ability to work both independently and with other multidisciplinary teams, with excellent communication skills.
  • Willingness to travel to active work sites or in field-based locations, when required.
