Technical Support Engineer
South Birmingham

T2M are currently working with an award‑winning managed service who have recently made key senior hires throughout the business, a solid business model and a winning sales strategy. They have more than doubled their seats managed in the last 6 months and are expecting to do the same again while looking to grow their service delivery and projects teams.

A long‑established provider of managed IT and business technology solutions, with decades of experience and a reputation for reliability, the business helps clients work smarter and safer by supporting its services, cloud, security, comms and much more.

  • South Birmingham / Hybrid 2-3 days a week
What will you be doing?

The 1st line support team is already quite technical but as the first step in escalation you’ll be triaging support tickets, providing break fixes and recommending short, medium and long term solutions, liaising with senior engineers and pre‑sales to advise customers on any next steps and resolutions.

This could be across private cloud, Azure cloud or on‑prem managed services, M365, managed print and everything in between supporting customers with roughly 25-200 seats.

If you have any experience administering Azure services or logic apps that would be very handy but training will be provided.

What are we looking for?

You are a problem solver and if you don’t already know how to fix an issue, you’ve probably already got a good idea about how to find out. You’ve probably already done a few years in a managed service business but probably feel like you might be getting passed some of the smaller tasks and know you could do much more.
