With 15 years of planned work ahead, this is more than just a job—it’s your opportunity to grow with a project that’s built to last. You’ll lead a dedicated team of M&E Maintenance Technicians and coordinate subcontractors to ensure every task meets the highest standards of safety and compliance.

From site visits and safety briefings to developing method statements and driving innovation, your leadership will shape not only the day-to-day operations but the future of the network. You’ll have the freedom to suggest improvements, optimise resources, and contribute to sustainability and cost-saving initiatives—all within a supportive, forward-thinking environment.

If you’re seeking a role that blends technical challenge with purpose, professional growth with security, and team leadership with tangible results—this is your chance to be part of something meaningful.

What You’ll Be Doing

As a Technical Supervisor, you’ll be at the forefront of maintaining and improving the vital infrastructure of the Dartford River Crossing and tunnel—helping millions of people travel safely every year. This is your opportunity to lead with purpose, grow your expertise, and make a real impact.

In this dynamic and rewarding role, you will:

Lead with confidence: Oversee Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) maintenance activities, ensuring work is planned, executed, and completed to the highest safety and quality standards.

Engage and empower your team: Support M&E staff and subcontractors, delivering clear work briefings and debriefs while fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous learning.

Keep safety at the heart of operations: Champion a Zero Harm approach by proactively identifying risks, improving safety practices, and contributing to risk assessments and method statements.

Plan and problem-solve: Use dashboard reports, site inspections, and your expertise to prioritise work, determine resource needs, and maintain clear, accurate records for accountability.

Drive performance and development: Manage staffing, performance, and rotas while mentoring team members and helping them grow through constructive feedback and training.

Support innovation and sustainability: Identify opportunities for cost savings, efficiency, and sustainable practices that align with Connect Plus Services’ long-term goals.

Promote open communication: Deliver toolbox talks, encourage feedback, and ensure the team is informed, involved, and empowered.

Whether you’re streamlining operations, mentoring colleagues, or solving complex technical challenges, you’ll play a key role in maintaining one of the UK’s most critical transport assets—with the stability of a project that’s built to last for years to come.
