Overview

Technical Solutions Architect — Location: Hybrid – Home-based with travel to offices in Buckinghamshire. Salary: Up to £55,000.00 + Car Allowance. Reporting to: Risk & Design Director.

Are you a technical expert in security design looking for your next challenge? We're searching for a Technical Solutions Architect to join our Government Team. If you're passionate about security systems, project design, and driving engineering excellence, this could be the role for you.

What You’ll Be Doing
  • Leading the design process for high-profile projects.
  • Managing and supporting design teams and third parties.
  • Acting as the primary contact for design projects, engaging with stakeholders and meeting deliverables.
  • Producing compliant security system designs, including specifications, bills of materials, and detailed schedules.
  • Staying up-to-date with the latest security technologies and trends.
  • Conducting site visits, including overseas, to validate designs, benchmark against environments, and ensure QA/QC standards.
  • Answering RFIs and managing your diary to meet project and business needs.
  • Collaborating with teams to meet deadlines and maintaining relationships with third-party suppliers.
Essential Skills/Experience
  • Attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Experience with Enterprise Electronic Security Systems.
  • Understanding of network infrastructure and commissioning processes.
  • Basic knowledge of CAD and familiarity with Factory/Site Acceptance Tests.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Bonus Skills (Non-Essential)
  • Previous design experience.
  • Knowledge of the RIBA 8-stage design process.
