Job description

Windsor Forest Colleges Group is looking for a Technical Skills Coach / Trainer to join the Electrical Apprenticeship team at our Slough & Langley College campus on a full time, permanent basis. This role pays between Scale L,596.00 and L,665.00, depending on skills and experience.

Successful applicants will be required to undergo an enhanced DBS and Barred List check along with other legally required checks which are an essential part of the safeguarding process.

We’re seeking a dedicated individual to manage and mentor a dynamic caseload of apprentices within our Electrical Apprenticeship Programme. This full time, permanent role involves providing essential skills coaching and mentoring in a classroom/college based setting to help apprentices excel in their end point assessments.

Experience of teaching in a classroom environment is essential to this role, and so a teaching qualification or the willingness to work towards a recognised teaching qualification within a reasonable time frame is required.

To be considered for this position you must have one of the following level 3 electrical installation qualifications: City & Guilds 8202, 2365, 2330 or 2360. You should also hold 18th Edition & AM2 / AM2S alongside an A1/CAVA certificate. Candidates should state these qualifications in their personal statement as applicants who do not meet these criteria will not be considered.
