Qualifications

  • Demonstrable experience in property management or engineering services.
  • Experience onboarding properties at practical completion and managing the defects process.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of building maintenance and compliance.
  • Strong understanding of legal requirements ideally with L8, IOSH, NEBOSH.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to build rapport.
  • A collaborative, team-player attitude.
  • Flexibility to work varied schedules.

Responsibilities

  • Lead maintenance activities ensuring compliance with company standards.
  • Oversee hiring, training, and development of engineering team.
  • Develop building maintenance standards in line with accreditations.
  • Assist in utility procurement and manage occupier recharging.
  • Lead Net Zero strategy, reducing landlord MEP consumption.
  • Manage MEP, vertical transportation, IT, and consultants.
  • Ensure efficient operation of the BMS application.
  • Maintain asset register and SOPs.
  • Monitor supplier contract performance and KPIs.
  • Conduct routine inspections of the building.
  • Manage critical spare stock and establish a risk register.

Your responsibilities will include leading maintenance activities, ensuring tenant requests and PPMs are performed to company standards. If you're someone who is a strong leader and has a solid background in building services, don’t miss this opportunity.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead on maintenance activities, ensuring tenant requests and PPMs are performed to company standards.
  • Oversee hiring, training, and development of the engineering team (via supplier partners).
  • Develop building maintenance standards in line with accreditations.
  • Assist in procurement of utilities and manage occupier recharging.
  • Lead the Net Zero in Operation strategy, reducing landlord MEP consumption.
  • Manage MEP, vertical transportation, IT, and network consultants.
  • Become the lead for the BMS application, ensuring efficient operation.
  • Maintain and update the asset register and SOPs.
  • Monitor supplier contract performance, SLAs, and KPIs.
  • Conduct routine inspections of the building and contractor works.
  • Maintain critical spare stock and establish a risk register with mitigation measures.
Requirements
  • Demonstrable experience in property management, hard FM, or engineering services (commercial offices focus preferred).
  • Experience onboarding properties at practical completion and managing the defects / aftercare process.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of building maintenance and compliance.
  • Strong understanding of statutory and legal requirements (ideally with L8, IOSH, and/or working toward NEBOSH).
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to build rapport with customers and colleagues.
  • A collaborative, team-player attitude.
  • Flexibility to work varied schedules.
