Overview

Kinetic Industrial are proud to be supporting a leading food production company in Ashton-under-Lyne in the recruitment of a Part-Time Technical Services Co-ordinator.

This is a key role ensuring food safety, quality, and compliance are maintained across all products and processes.

This is a part-time, temporary to permanent role, working 25 hours per week. You will be required to work Monday to Friday, 8am to 1pm, with flexibility available.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and issue internal specifications and factory documentation
• Complete customer product questionnaires and respond to queries
• Respond promptly and professionally to customer queries
• Review and approve technical artwork, ensuring compliance and barcode accuracy
• Support product launches with accurate documentation and communication
• Conduct internal audits and support external audits (BRCGS, COP, customer standards)
• Carry out GAP analysis, escalating issues and ensuring corrective action is taken
• Maintain document control for food safety and quality records
• Support continuous improvement projects across the site

Requirements

• Food Safety Level 3 & HACCP Level 2 (essential)
• Knowledge of BRCGS, GMP, GHP, and Food Defence (essential)
• Internal auditing experience and basic microbiology knowledge (advantageous)
• Knowledge of legal labelling requirements
• Strong organisational and communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to work independently with excellent attention to detail
• Confidence to work independently, with good decision-making and problem-solving skills
• Attention to detail with the ability to process data quickly and accurately
