The Role

We’re looking for a smart and motivated individual to take on the role of Technical SEO Executive within a scaled SEO team that spans both Leeds and London.

Within the role you will support the analysis, reporting, insights and optimisation across a diverse and exciting portfolio of agency clients. You will be responsible for core Technical SEO deliverables, including crawl audits, addressing indexation and accessibility issues, keyword research, and more. You will have access to leading SEO tools such as Accuranker, SEMRush, Lumar, ScreamingFrog, Google Analytics and Google Search Console.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and investigate crawl & log files from tools such as ScreamingFrog, custom crawlers, and client extractions.
  • Deliver accurate and comprehensive SEO audits with clear issue identification and actionable recommendations.
  • Develop a basic understanding of HTML, CSS and other core SEO technologies.
  • Use core SEO tools (Ahrefs, SEMRush, ScreamingFrog, Lumar, GA4, Google Search Console).
  • Base recommendations on robust data analysis.
  • Understand consumer search behaviour for clients and verticals.
  • Improve performance with reasoned, logical technical suggestions.
  • Follow the strategic plan and roadmap for technical activity set by your manager.
  • Assist with reporting for your client set, including QBRs.
  • Present work and results to internal teams and clients.
  • Join client calls and contribute to regular reporting meetings.
  • Prepare presentation material for client calls as required.
  • Align work with agency best practices and high standards.
  • Feed into roadmaps and contribute strategic recommendations.
  • Raise issues or concerns to management when required.
  • Deliver work within deadlines and SLAs.
  • Utilise AI platforms to increase performance outputs.
  • Monitor industry developments to keep SEO knowledge up‑to‑date.
Desired Skills And Experience
  • Basic understanding of SEO is desirable but not essential; training provided.
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills.
  • Comfortable with large data sets and complex problems; working knowledge of Excel.
  • Interest in web analytics and ability to use data to support arguments.
