A leading manufacturer in the UK is seeking a Technical Sales Manager to promote hard metal building products. The role includes field sales, supporting existing customers, and identifying new business opportunities. Ideal candidates will have experience in the hard metals industry and the ability to deliver CPD to architects. A hybrid company car and benefits package are provided, with remuneration between £50,000-£55,000 plus a bonus.

£50,000-£55,000 neg. + £5,000 bonus subject to targets

Field sales position, promoting a manufactured range of all hard metal building products portfolio.
Selling to main contractors, fabricators, installers, and end users
50% of your time providing support to existing customers, assisting with proposals and providing information etc. whilst also managing main contractor relationships.
20% of your time will be identifying and acquiring new customers with a view to growing the customer base and turnover.
30% of your time will be spent delivering CPD to architects and specifiers with a view of getting products specified.
Inheriting an area with a turnover of circa £5m
Tasked with achieving additional sales year on year.
Access to full CRM system and glenigan project leads
Ideally field sales experience within the hard metals industry
Roofing, cladding, rainscreen and facade backgrounds may all be of interest.
Open to both field sales and sales estimating experience.
Hungry new business attitude
Be experienced in delivery CPD to architects and specifiers.
Technical aptitude although full training will be provided.
IT literate, CRM proficient
Specific knowledge of project sales lead system such as glenigan or barbour ABI
Ability to sell on quality over price.
Monthly review at head office will be required.
