We are recruiting for an Engineering Technical Resourcer to join an established and well-respected recruitment business specialising in the commercial electrical and HVAC maintenance sector. The company has operated successfully within this market for over 25 years and has built long-standing relationships with both clients and candidates.

This role would suit someone with a mechanical or electrical engineering background, or an individual who has previous experience working in recruitment and is looking to develop a long-term career within a technical recruitment environment.

The Role

Working from our City of London office, you will support experienced consultants by sourcing, assessing, and engaging engineering candidates for a range of permanent and contract roles. Key responsibilities include:

  • Searching and selecting suitable CVs from job boards and internal databases
  • Interviewing prospective candidates to assess technical competence, experience, and suitability
  • Understanding candidates’ motivations for seeking new roles
  • Maintaining accurate candidate records and notes
  • Supporting the recruitment process from initial contact through to placement
About You
  • Background in mechanical or electrical engineering, or previous recruitment experience
  • Interest in the commercial building services and maintenance sector
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Organised, professional, and able to work to deadlines
  • Comfortable speaking with engineers at all levels
