Overview

Technical Project Manager Highly Attractive Salary + 4 day week + WFH + Rewards Scheme + Benefits

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a prestigious company in a senior position. The company are involved with the Design and Manufacture of a range of Test and Inspection Equipment, for customers from various sectors.

Responsibilities

• Running projects – the company designs bespoke testing systems for clients in sectors such as Defence and Transport. Ensure the project is completed on time, within budget. Deal directly with customers to overcome any issues. Meet customers on site where required (London, Midlands, Scottish Borders) – around 1 day out of the office every fortnight.
• Critical Design Reviews and Site Acceptance Tests.
• Short-turnaround projects – typically 12–24 weeks.
• Managing multiple projects at a time; once fully fledged this will be 4 or 5.
• Collaborate with the PM team (5 other project managers). Schedule workload and resources as required.

Candidate Profile / Requirements

• BSc in Electrical or Electronics Engineering
• Prince2 - Big advantage
• Senior Electrical OR Electronics Design Engineer who wants to move into PM
• Or someone already doing this, needs to be an engineer though
• Ability to communicate with all types of people – Technical and Non-technical
• Experience within the Test/Measurement industry – important
