A major policing organisation is seeking an experienced Technical Project Manager for a 6-month contract based in London. The role involves leading the upgrade and implementation of the Airwave communications system. Technical Project Manager

Contract: 6 months | Up to £550 per day | Outside IR35 | London (3-5 days per week on-site)

Our client, a major policing organisation, is seeking an experienced Technical Project Manager to lead the upgrade and implementation of their Airwave communications system. You'll take a hands-on leadership role, coordinating technical delivery, managing stakeholders, and ensuring the project is delivered on time, on budget, and in line with security requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the end-to-end upgrade and implementation of the Airwave system.
  • Oversee technical integrations, configuration, and rollout activities.
  • Coordinate with internal teams, policing units, and external suppliers.
  • Manage risks, issues, timelines, and reporting to senior stakeholders.
