A leading automation technology firm based in the Isle of Wight is seeking a Technical Product Support Engineer. The successful candidate will provide technical support and guidance to the Internal Sales team, acting as the liaison between sales and development. Ideal candidates will have a strong background in software development and experience in a sales function. This role offers the chance to expand your experience within a growing organization.
An opportunity has arisen for a Technical Product Support Engineer, to join a leading producer of automation and control software products for industrial applications, based at their headquarters located on the Isle of Wight.
The Technical Product Support Engineer will provide technical guidance, support and product knowledge to the Internal Sales team. You will be the technical liaison between the sales team and the software development team, capturing customer requirements and providing guidance on product solutions.
This role will suit someone who is technically astute within software development or related software products, with a commercial acumen to be able to liaise with internal teams and external customers. Previous experience within a sales / commercial function would be ideal.
Experience around software development, software products and / or software sales is essential.
