Technical Manager

Are you an experienced technical manager within the food or beverage industry?

Do you have a background in leading the technical agenda for a fast-paced food or beverage manufacturing site?

Are you experienced in managing all technical aspects to ensure legal compliance and retail customer legislation?

MacGregor Black is partnering with a FMCG manufacturing business on the search for a Technical Manager. This is a perm role based in Buckinghamshire.

Key Responsibilities
  • Responsible for product quality, safety, integrity and legality.
  • Accountable for the technical and quality assurance function of the site meeting company, legislative, and 3rd party accreditation standards.
  • Ensuring that the Technical Team is trained and fit for purpose.
  • Ensuring that the company’s quality systems are fully compliant with current standards and customer requirements.
  • Maintenance and Leadership of the HACCP Plan.
What are we looking for?
  • BSc in Food Science, Technology or a related field.
  • HACCP Level 4.
  • Experience of working to BRC and other legislation.
  • Proven experience in a technical management role within a fast-paced, high automation food or beverage manufacturer.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
  • Calm under pressure and able to challenge the status quo.

Salary – c65k + package
