A hands‑on Tech Lead / Principal Software Engineer opportunity for an exciting tech business offering innovative products to a global customer base. The Tech Lead will remain hands‑on in a full stack Ruby, Rails, React, AWS environment, leading projects and assisting senior engineers where required.

Previous experience in a full stack engineer role using Ruby, TypeScript, React and AWS is essential. The business is developing a genuinely exciting product and is growing rapidly, promoting autonomy and collaboration and supporting remote working.

Essential requirements :

• A hands‑on background within a Ruby, Rails, TypeScript, React, AWS or similar stack
• Excellent problem‑solving skills and the ability to work in a collaborative product‑led team
• Advocate for Software engineering best practice – Unit testing, CI / CD, Pair Programming etc
• Interested in working on complex problems with senior engineers
• The ability to be customer facing when required
