Job description

Do you have strong experience in the semiconductor industry, leading the technical delivery of complex SoC or ASIC projects? Are you a collaborative technical leader who thrives on guiding teams from concept through to successful silicon delivery? If so, we'd love to hear from you. At Aion Silicon, we’re at the forefront of SoC and ASIC innovation – helping our customers take bold, high‑impact ideas and turn them into real, production‑ready silicon.

You'll champion a strong systems engineering mindset, communicate clearly, anticipate risks, and make informed technical decisions to secure first‑time silicon success. You will also represent Aion Silicon in customer‑facing technical discussions, negotiating and aligning expectations on scope, requirements, and milestones.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the technical delivery of complex SoC/ASIC projects across multiple engineering disciplines.
  • Ensure teams deliver against agreed specifications, timelines, quality, and cost targets.
  • Drive collaboration and alignment across inter‑functional teams and technical workstreams.
  • Identify, manage, and elevate risks and support change control where needed.
  • Mentor and support engineering contributors, ensuring clarity of roles and priorities.
  • Support project planning and resource allocation with the Project Manager.
  • Own technical decision‑making within your discipline, ensuring consistency and best practice.
  • Promote knowledge sharing, continuous improvement, and engineering excellence.
  • Track and report technical status, risks, and KPIs.
About You

You are a strong technical leader with a successful background delivering SoC or ASIC projects in the semiconductor industry. You understand the complexities of technical integration and know how to inspire teams to deliver their best work.

Essential Qualifications & Experience
  • Degree in a relevant engineering discipline.
  • Proven experience delivering multi‑disciplinary SoC/ASIC programmes (e.g., Architecture, RTL/Front‑End, Verification, DfT, Physical Design).
  • Strong leadership and mentoring capability, able to drive clarity and performance in teams.
  • Confident decision‑maker with strong risk‑management and problem‑solving skills.
  • Clear and credible communicator, both internally and with customers.
  • Experience in customer‑facing technical discussions and shaping Statements of Work (SOWs).
  • Comfortable reporting progress, risks, and technical status to stakeholders.
