The Role

Join a newly formed Cloud Platform Engineering team building a greenfield Azure platform for a regulated banking venture. As Tech Lead, you’ll drive technical delivery across a team of ten engineers, staying hands‑on while setting the standard for Infrastructure-as-Code, DevOps, and platform engineering.

You’ll work at the intersection of architecture and delivery, ensuring solutions are built securely, efficiently, and to a consistently high standard. This is a hands‑on technical leadership role, not a people‑management one.

What They’re Looking For (Non‑Negotiables)

• Tech Lead / Principal Engineer experience on large‑scale Azure platform builds
• Expert‑level Terraform for modular, composable infrastructure‑as‑code
• Hands‑on experience with Kubernetes in production environments
• Delivery leadership in DevOps‑driven teams using GitHub Actions / Azure DevOps
• Proven ability to mentor engineers and embed technical standards
• Strong grasp of Kanban / continuous‑delivery workflows

What You’ll Work With

• Azure Cloud: CAF enterprise‑scale architecture, policy automation, governance
• Terraform: Modular provisioning, testing, and deployment patterns
• Kubernetes: Workload orchestration and container management
• CI/CD: GitHub Actions or Azure DevOps pipelines with end‑to‑end automation
• Event‑Driven Architecture: Kafka or similar messaging systems
