BAE - Submarine Solutions (SS), a leading player in the Defence & Security sector, is currently seeking a Technical Coordinator for a 12-month contract role based in Barrow, with hybrid working options available. This position requires a blend of technical and administrative skills to support the organisation's submarine solutions operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Providing technical and administrative support to the project team
  • Coordinating technical documentation and ensuring accurate record-keeping
  • Liaising with internal and external stakeholders to ensure project requirements are met
  • Assisting in the preparation of reports, presentations, and other technical materials
  • Maintaining and updating project schedules and tracking progress
  • Ensuring compliance with security requirements, including BPSS and SC
  • Supporting the team with ITAR and UK Eyes Only restricted tasks
  • Performing other tasks as required to support the smooth operation of the project
Job Requirements:
  • Experience in a technical coordination or administrative support role
  • Understanding of the Defence & Security sector
  • Strong organisational and multitasking abilities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Security clearance: BPSS + SC
