A major UK water utility company is seeking a Technical Compliance Supervisor to oversee team performance and ensure compliance with industry standards. This hybrid role requires a proactive individual with strong organizational skills and experience in supervising teams. The position offers a salary up to £43,000 per annum and benefits including 24 days annual leave and a contributory pension scheme.
As a Technical Compliance Supervisor, you will have a varied role with a mix of field based and office based reviews. Field based reviews will include attending site to assess works done against the scope of works and any relevant standards. Office based reviews will include reviewing images of work done and carrying out data analysis for higher volume, low value works.
As a supervisor, you will be responsible for managing the team, including 121s, development and day to day oversight of performance. Building relationships is a key part of the role to work with operational colleagues and suppliers in reviewing procedures and operational delivery against industry standards/best practice. Where necessary the Technical Compliance Advisor will work with a variety of stakeholders and experts to produce guidance documents with the aim of introducing consistent standards across all our works. The Technical Compliance Advisor will be naturally inquisitive, always looking for ways to improve compliance to asset/industry standards and deliver best value for money. With a starter finisher mindset this role will use its tenacity to ensure that improvements are embedded. There will be a strong network of support in place within the operational commercial function which will allow improvements to be made at pace with access to contract managers, quantity surveyors and senior managers. The existing is highly dynamic with the ability to flex resources to meet demands. This adaptability will be a key attribute for the technical compliance advisor to embrace and embed more widely.
Base Location – This is a Hybrid role based within the South West London area.
