A prominent recruitment agency in Craigavon is seeking a Quality Manager to ensure quality standards in a FMCG manufacturing environment. Job description
The Role

Monday to Friday 0830-1700

  • To ensure quality standards are maintained to customer expectations.
  • To manage finished product shelf life sample assessment and trend reporting.
  • To manage & conduct training as per site requirements
  • To conduct quality checks on incoming materials
  • To conduct quality panels / log and report quality issues to the team
  • To conduct sample collection & delivery to customers
  • To complete online quality control & paperwork verification checks
  • To manage daily/weekly/monthly factory paperwork archive
  • To conduct temperature monitoring checks
  • Support NPD trials on line
  • To provide support (including process controls) to production
  • To investigate customer complaints and production non-conformances as they arise for the site.
  • To maintain control & issue of miscellaneous food safety items(e.g., Plasters, cable ties, pens, markers, ear defenders etc.)
  • To conduct pre-production swabbing checks - Allergen rapid and ATP
  • To manage the site training matrix & identify training requirements.
  • To conduct ongoing training including procedure updates & relevant team briefs
  • Manage Monthly Technical report generation
  • Any other duties as required.

The Person
  • 3rd level Education Graduate Calibre
  • Experience working in a FMCG manufacturing environment
  • Familiar with BRC /FSSC22000 standards
  • Understanding of Quality Management Systems
  • Management of Site Customer based audits
  • Experienced using Microsoft packages
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Ability to liaise with people (internal and external) across all levels
  • Strong organisational skills
  • Ability to work on own initiative as well as part of a team
  • High level of literacy and numeracy skills
  • Must be flexible
