Technical Assessor - Hazardous Waste / Chemistry Graduate

NO SECTOR EXPERIENCE OR GRAD PACKAGE: £30,300K Bonus, Pension

NEGOTIABLE WITH HAZ WASTE / TECHNICAL ASSESSOR EXPERIENCE

LOCATION

Wakefield area

YOU MAY BE A:

Hazpak Chemist, Chemistry Graduate, Senior Technical Assessor, Hazardous Waste Technical Assessor, Site Chemist, Reception Chemist, Chempac Chemist, Mobile Chemist

ROLE:

This role is office based, and training will be given if required. You may occasionally visit client’s sites. This role does not involve a great deal of practical chemistry and mainly draws upon applying your chemistry knowledge. You will use your knowledge of chemistry to assess incoming waste streams based on information provided by the sales team, ensure they are classified correctly and identify correct routes and cost of disposal.

EXPERIENCE:

You will have a good standard of verbal and written communication and be competent in Outlook, Word and Excel. Experience of directly interfacing with a client would be desirable. Previous experience as a Technical Assessor, or other roles in the Hazardous Waste sector is desirable.

You will have a UK Driving Licence

YOU WILL HAVE HNC in Chemistry or higher. Related Subjects e.g. Biochemistry will only be considered where FOUR OR MORE modules with Chemistry IN THE TITLE were included such as organic chemistry, analytical chemistry, physical chemistry or inorganic chemistry.
