TEAM TEACH Teaching Assistant

Are you a qualified teaching assistant with experience of working with behaviours that challenge? We are recruiting for a SEMH school in North Birmingham who are seeking to appoint a very strong teaching assistant to join their team.

Responsibilities
  • Support pupils of all ages who have been excluded from mainstream school and who exhibit challenging behaviour.
  • Bring energy, passion, and resilience to work in a challenging but rewarding environment.
  • Contribute to pupils’ development across all areas and help them make progress.
  • Work closely with school staff to maintain a positive and supportive learning environment.
Qualifications / Experience
  • Qualified teaching assistant with experience of working with behaviours that challenge.
  • Experience in a similar SEMH or challenging environment is vital.
  • Ability to demonstrate patience and resilience in a demanding setting.
