A major healthcare provider in Scotland is seeking a part-time Administrative Assistant to deliver secretarial and administrative support to the community mental health services team. The role involves reception duties, data input, and effective management of calls and emails. Ideal candidates should have strong administrative skills and the ability to work independently. NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde is one of the largest healthcare systems in the UK employing around 40,000 staff in a wide range of clinical and non-clinical professions and job roles. We deliver acute hospital, primary, community and mental health care services to a population of over 1.15 million and a wider population of 2.2 million when our regional and national services are included.
The shift pattern of this post consist of 22.2 hours per week.
The post holder will ensure that an effective and efficient secretarial and administrative service is delivered to the multi-disciplinary team which comprises of Managerial, Psychology, Nursing, and Occupational Therapy staff within adult community mental health services across Glasgow City CHP.
This will include reception duties, data input, record management and general typing.
The post holder works independently much of the time managing calls, emails and team workload. The post holder will be required to deal with referrals and enquires through a single point of access and also support the generic functions and duties of the wider administrative team across the sector and beyond as required.
Please note the salary is Pro Rata for part time hours.
