Job description

We are currently recruiting for a Team Manager – Youth Justice Service within a Local Authority in the West Midlands.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a dedicated team and make a real impact in youth justice services.

Role Details:
  • Job Title: Team Manager – Youth Justice Service
  • Contract: Initial 3-month interim (potential extension)
  • Location: West Midlands (Hybrid – minimum 2-3 days in office)
  • Hours: Monday–Thursday 9:00–17:00, Friday 9:00–16:30
  • Duty Requirement: Weekday duty rota and Saturday duty manager (1 in 4 weeks)
  • Pay Rate: £41.42 per hour, 37 hours per week (Inside IR35 via FCSA Accredited Umbrella company)
Key Requirements:
  • Must be an experienced Youth Justice Service Team Manager.
  • Social Work qualification and registration essential.
  • Strong leadership skills and ability to manage a multi-disciplinary team.
  • Experience working across prevention, out-of-court disposals, statutory interventions, and custody.
  • Desirable: Familiarity with Child View recording system.
