Job summary

A property assessment organization is seeking a Team Leader / Property Assessor to lead a team of Property Condition Surveyors and Domestic Energy Assessors. You will ensure high-quality property assessments, manage data accuracy, and promote energy efficiency goals. The ideal candidate should have relevant technical qualifications, experience in building surveying, and proven leadership skills. This full-time role is based in Weston Super Mare and offers a competitive salary of £40,000 - £45,000 depending on experience.

Qualifications

• Relevant technical qualification or significant equivalent experience.
• Strong knowledge of the Decent Homes Standard and HHSRS.
• Awareness of asbestos management and health & safety compliance.

Responsibilities

• Lead and motivate a team of Property Condition Surveyors and Domestic Energy Assessors.
• Deliver high-quality stock condition surveys in line with standards.
• Collect and analyse energy efficiency data to support SAP rating calculations.

Skills

Building surveying and construction management experience

Proven experience leading technical or surveying teams

Excellent relationship-building and leadership skills

Understanding of housing's role in achieving net zero carbon by 2050
