Overview

Aston House is a small, family-run mental health care home in Herefordshire. We're looking for a confident, compassionate, and experienced Team Leader to join our growing team. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone who leads by example and thrives in a supportive, people-focused environment.

Shifts

Shifts (4 per week):

  • Morning: 8:00am - 3:00pm
  • Afternoon: 2:30pm - 9:30pm
  • Possible sleep shift depending on staffing needs
Responsibilities
  • Lead a team in a mental health care setting, maintaining a calm, professional presence
  • Take a hands-on role and lead by example in daily delivery of care
  • Provide supervision and support to team members
Qualifications
  • Experience in a senior/supervisory role within a mental health care setting (essential)
  • Minimum Level 3 NVQ in Health & Social Care (or equivalent)
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills
  • Good spoken and written English
  • A reliable, supportive attitude with a passion for helping others
  • Solid understanding of mental health and recovery-focused approaches
