A healthcare support organization in Larne is looking for a Team Leader to coordinate support for individuals with complex needs. The role involves creating individual support programs, providing leadership to support staff, and ensuring compliance with care standards. Ideal candidates will have experience in health and social care and a relevant qualification. The Team Leader is an integral part of the support team, responsible for meeting the practical, physical, and emotional needs of the individuals we support within the service.
Through a key worker system, they will design individual support programmes and coordinate the delivery of these packages by a group of Support Workers and themselves.
The above-mentioned duties are not exhaustive, and the post holder may be required to carry out other duties as necessary. It should be noted that stated duties or locations associated with the post may change to meet the future needs of the organisation.
Essential:
Candidates must be prepared to complete Level 2 Safe and Effective Care Practice Diploma or already hold registration with NISCC/NMC or an Allied Health Professional.
Desirable:
Supervision, Communication, Teamwork, Ability to support clients with learning disabilities and/or complex needs
