Sales & Operations Team Assistant

Hybrid – Central London Office / Homeworking / UK Travel (Flexible)

The Opportunity

This entry to early-career role offers real variety and visibility across the business. You'll work closely with the Global Sales & Operations Director and collaborate cross-functionally with sales, marketing, operations, supply chain and finance to help ensure smooth execution of key commercial and operational initiatives.

Location

Hybrid working model with:

  • Homeworking
  • Occasional days in the Central London office (Oxford Street)
  • Retailer visits and manufacturing locations
  • UK-wide travel as required (flexible)
Assistant & Administrative Support
  • Support the Global Sales & Operations Director with diary management, meeting coordination and email triage.
  • Assist with budgets, purchase orders, invoices and expense tracking.
  • Organise and manage samples and free stock requirements.
  • Maintain project plans and critical paths.
  • Build strong cross-team relationships to ensure timely delivery of information and actions.
  • Attend meetings and circulate minutes and actions.
  • Arrange travel and support document legalisation, translations and related requirements.
  • Provide customer service cover during team holidays.
Sales & Commercial Support
  • Prepare materials for key retail meetings, line reviews and commercial presentations.
  • Support store visits and help organise in‑store retailer events.
  • Coordinate all logistics for TV shopping channel/retailers, including preparation, on‑site support and post‑show analysis.
  • Conduct market and competitor research, summarising key insights.
  • Assist with sales reporting, forecasting and performance tracking.
  • Liaise with internal teams to ensure alignment and follow‑up on actions.
  • Maintain accurate pricing, promotions and commercial documentation.
Operations & Project Coordination
  • Prepare briefing documents for manufacturers and product registration partners.
  • Support day‑to‑day workflows across supply chain, logistics and inventory planning.
  • Track timelines and deliverables for product launches and operational initiatives.
  • Coordinate cross‑functional projects across sales, marketing, operations and finance.
  • Provide order processing cover during team holidays.
Experience & Characteristics – Essential
  • Exposure in an assistant, operations or commercial support role – even internships.
  • Strong educational background
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proactive, solutions‑focused mindset with a willingness to learn quickly.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work collaboratively.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Confident using Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint (Canva desirable).
Desirable
  • Experience in beauty, haircare, luxury or consumer brands.
  • Exposure to sales operations, supply chain or retail environments.
  • Background in a high‑growth or entrepreneurial business.
  • Advanced Excel or project management tools.
