Job description
Responsibilities

The post holder will provide confidential secretarial and administrative support to the Living Well Team.

They will manage referrals that come into the team, send out appointment letters and mailshots, handle all telephone calls that come into the service and ensure they are passed on in a timely manner.

Requisition and Facility Management

The post holder will be responsible for the requisitioning of stationery, maintenance of meeting rooms and non-stock requisitioning.

Patient Pathway and Appointment Service

The Team Administrator will oversee the patient pathway with responsibility for ensuring referrals, reviews and appointments are processed and conducted within the required timeframes.

The post holder will provide a booking appointment service for Outpatients using the electronic patient record system. This involves formal liaison with service users and clinicians to ensure patients are seen within appropriate timeframes.

Administrative Duties

The post holder will ensure an efficient administrative service for the team, including minute taking, filing and other general administrative duties.

Additional Responsibilities

The Team Administrator will receive, process, scan and forward referrals, agreeing, amending and issuing appointments.

Providing an administrative function to the Multi-Disciplinary Team, minuting meetings, filing and other general duties also falls under this role.
