Full time, Fixed term, Start Date: 28/01/2026, End Date: 15/12/2026 (Study leave)

Primary and intermediate (Years 1–8) / kura tuatahi, Certificated teacher

Subjects: English, Health and physical education, Learning languages, Mathematics and statistics, Science, Social sciences, Technology, Te reo Māori, The arts

Responsibilities
  • We are looking for a positive, innovative and reflective practitioner who demonstrates commitment to providing high-quality learning opportunities to meet diverse student learning needs.
  • We have a fixed-term study leave position available in the senior area of the school (Y5-6 or Y7-8), commencing term 1 (28/01/2026) and finishing end of term 4 (15/12/2026). We welcome you to indicate your preference/s, as we have some degree of flexibility.
  • Candidates will have sound New Zealand Curriculum knowledge, be committed to collaborative teaching and be excited to be a member of our inspirational team of staff. Strengths in learning design and pedagogy to support literacy and mathematics are required. An ability to integrate the curriculum, e-learning and Te Reo Māori me ona Tikanga into learning programmes is desirable.
